I teach Kestrels on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I completed a four-year BEd at the University of Plymouth in 2003, specialising in Primary English. Since 2005, I have been working at Newtown Primary School. As a class teacher, I have high expectations for the children in my class and I employ a range of techniques to make learning relevant and interesting. Wherever possible, I try to link ‘real life’ experiences into my topics and I have organised a range of trips and experiences which the children find memorable. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing tennis and swimming.
